What is the program?
A group private medical insurance program offered to employees on the UK payroll.
Who is the insurance carrier?
AXA is the insurance carrier for the UK Private Medical Insurance (PMI).
Key program benefits – Private Medical Insurance (PMI) :
You can elect coverage as a single individual, single parent, a couple or a family. Your spouse and your children are eligible to participate on the plan.
AXA provides members with Dr@Hand, a telemedicine service. This program provides you with unlimited video or telephone consultations with their online private GP service. Once you enroll in the AXA program, you can log on and sign up for Dr@Hand. http://www.axappphealthcare.co.uk/wellbeinghub
Fertility coverage up to £15,000 per person under a lifetime maximum.
Plan has a £100 excess. Covers private hospital and day patient unit fees, specialists fees, outpatient services like physiotherapy, and mental health coverage with a psychologist and psychologist.
How do I enroll?
You will log onto the BenefitHub and set up your username and password. You will enroll in your healthcare plan directly on the benefits admin portal (BenefitHub). Any changes that you look to make in the future will also be processed on the BenefitsHub.
When can I enroll ?
Shortly after you join the company , you will receive an email from BenefitsHub (our benefits administration portal) informing you about the new joiners window that will be 35 days in between which you can enroll into the PMI plan. In case you miss this opportunity you will only be able to enroll into the PMI during the annual enrollment window that is in September each year.
Can I change my enrollment?
If you experience a qualified life event during the year, you may enroll outside of the annual enrollment window. The annual enrollment window traditionally opens in September.
Is there a cost to my medical plan?
The Company covers the cost of your healthcare plan, however it is considered a taxable benefit to you.
