Who is the insurance carrier?

QIC(Qatar Insurance Company)  is the local partner of United Healthcare. QIC is the insurance carrier for the medical policy for employees on the UAE payroll.

Key program benefits:

We provide healthcare coverage through QIC that is the local partner of United Healthcare in UAE .Our comprehensive healthcare plan will provide you with an annual limit of $ 4 Million.

The plan provides coverage for inpatient care like surgery, diagnostic means, psychiatry, medications while in the hospital are all covered. The plan also allows for outpatient treatment like general medicine and pediatrics, maternity, dental care and some travel assistance. The plan also includes a telemedicine service through the QIC digital platform.

The coverage provides dental cover up to $ 1600 and the cost of eye examinations and VDU up to $280 .

You can elect coverage for yourself, your spouse or your dependent children.

How do I enroll?

Since offering private medical insurance is mandatory in accordance with UAE’s regulations, you will be automatically enrolled into our medical insurance program as part of the visa application process. Please ensure that your dependent details are up to date and accurate.

Can I change my enrollment?

If you experience a life event during the year, like a marriage or birth of a baby, you can enroll your new dependents on your plan within 31 days of your life event.

Is there a cost to my medical plan?

The Company covers the cost of your healthcare plan and covers the cost for both employees and dependents.
