A Company sponsored healthcare plan for employees on the Spanish payroll.

Who is the insurance carrier?

DKV is the medical insurance carrier for employees on the Spanish payroll.

Key program benefits:

We provide healthcare coverage through DKV. Our comprehensive healthcare plan will provide you with an unlimited annual limit and pre-existing conditions are covered. 

The plan provides coverage for inpatient care like surgery, diagnostic means, psychiatry, medications while in the hospital are all covered. The plan also allows for in and outpatient treatment like general medicine and pediatrics, maternity, dental & vision care and some travel assistance.

You can only cover your spouse/partner and your children under your healthcare plan.

Dependent – DKV only covers spouse and children as dependents and reserves the right to deny cover in case dependent definitions are not met or are questionable.

How do I enroll?

After your probation ends, you will get a notification form BenefitHub with instructions about how to enroll into the medical insurance plan.

You will have 35 days to enroll into the medical plan from the date you get the notification of being eligible to enroll. If you miss that new joiner’s window you would then be able to enroll the following January.

Our annual enrollment window for medical plan will be open each January for all the existing employees. 

When is my coverage effective?

Coverage will be effective from the 1st of the following month after you have signed up. Please note it can take up to 14 days for DKV to send your documentation and Medicard.

Can I change my enrollment?

If you experience a life event, like getting married or having a baby, you can add your new dependent within 35 days of the event. Simply choose your life event reason from the ‘Change In Circumstances menu on Benefit Hub.

Is there a cost to my medical plan?

You will pay tax on the cost of your healthcare coverage. This tax will be deducted from your paycheck.
