How do I enroll in benefits?
Group Life and Disability – No action is needed from employees. You will be automatically enrolled.
Medical – After your probation ends, you will get an email from BenefitHub with instructions on how to enroll into the medical insurance plan.
Pensions – After 1 month of service with Factiva/Dow Jones you can join the plan by selecting the benefit on your Benefit Hub. You will also receive an email from BenefitHub with instructions on how to do this. Please note that the benefit selection window runs from 1st – 24th of each month.
When are new hires eligible for health and welfare benefits?
Your benefit enrollment windows vary by the type of coverage you are eligible for.
Group Life and Disability – Immediately after joining
Medical – After Probation 2 months
Your coverage will begin on the 1st of the month following your selection of the benefit. You will have 35 days to enroll into the medical plan from the date you get the notification of being eligible to enroll. If you miss that new joiner’s window you would then be able to enroll the following January.
Our annual enrollment window for medical plan will be open each November-December to be effective 1st January for all the existing employees.
You will receive a confirmation of coverage email from DKV and your card will be delivered to your given address within 14 working days
Is there a cost to my healthcare?
You will pay tax on the cost of your healthcare coverage. This tax will be deducted from your paycheck.
When am I eligible for pension?
You are eligible to participate in the pension after 1 month of service.
How do I enroll in the pension?
You will receive an email from BenefitHub with instructions on how to join the pension plan.
